Tech Mahindra visits CEC

Tech mahindra is visiting CEC for a placement drive on 11 February, 2014. There will be an online test on the day of the drive.

Aakriti-14 All you need to know!

Canara Engineering college hosts Aakriti, a widely known techno-cultural fest held every year. Aakriti is a Sanskrit term which stands for shape or form. Aakriti aims to bring out the feeling of fraternity among the modern youth.And to achieve this we have hundreds of talented students competing in various Bold and Bright events encompassing both traditional and modern forms.

Aakriti-14 will include more than 30 unique events, on 17th, 18th and 19th of February 2014. The events have been categorized as Technical, Cultural, Gaming and Arts. This 3 day extravaganza challenges the youngsters and provides an environment to bring out their creativity. It also enables them to showcase their natural charisma, vigor and chase their undying spirit of victory!

Technical events include Debates, Quizzes, Programming, Collage, Treasure Hunt etc.

Cultural events include dance competitions, singing competitions.

Aakriti-14 also has gamer's corner which organizes gaming tournament of the most popular Multiplayer games: FIFA, NFS Most Wanted, Counterstrike and DOTA.

Art and craft events will include events such as face painting, rangoli, mime, mono-act,painting,pencil sketching, soap carving, junkyard and nature photography.
